Reference description

  • The new DFB Academy in Frankfurt combines administration and sport under one roof. The academy is an important building block for future sporting success.
  • The planning was carried out with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and according to the highest energy requirements, implementation of decentralized supply concepts. The energetic optimization was carried out by thermal simulation
  • The use is designed for administration, academy and athletes' house which corresponds to a passive house standard.
  • The building, planned with around 50.000 m² NRF, takes into account a wide variety of user requirements. It integrates different types of buildings. The following uses are represented here: administration building, athletes' house (hotel), academy, football hall, press center, sports boulevard and gastronomy
  • Service provided: Plant construction in the field of technical building technology

Cooling supply

  • 2x cold generator with 600 kW each
  • 1x free cooling with 300 kW
  • 2x dry coolers with adiabatic function with 750 kW each
  • Refrigeration distributor with 5 refrigeration circuits
  • Refrigeration sub-distributor with 4 refrigeration circuits
  • Connection of 25 refrigeration consumers (RLT or ULK)
