Foundation 1933
As early as 1933, Wilhelm Theis founded a plumbing shop in the Westerwald community of Hof. In the course of the post-war years, the company developed and grew with customer needs. After further expansion, the plumbing shop was converted into Wilhelm Theis GmbH in 1977 by the company's founder's son, Burkhard Theis. The range of services initially includes simple plumbing work and heating and sanitary technology for single-family houses.
Since 1981 in Bad Marienberg
In the following years, the large-scale construction of technical building systems is consistently added throughout Germany. In 1981 the company moved into a 7.000 m² site in Bad Marienberg, which at the time was in the geographic center of West Germany, where it is still located today. With diligence, commitment and integrity, the company is now more than ever a reliable partner for customers and employees.
Personal developments and continuity
The company now employs 90 people and trains several apprentices every year in the professions of office management clerk, technical draftsman and system mechanic for sanitary, heating and air conditioning technology.
